EDG Project Proposal Generator
EDG funds capability, not products — so the proposal has to describe an outcome, not a purchase. Answer four questions below and I'll draft an outcome-shaped proposal outline mapped to the right EDG pillar (or use the blank structure further down). Tool-shaped proposals stall; outcome-shaped ones move.
Use it when: Scoping an Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) project — a custom build, consultancy, or capability uplift that PSG can't fund off the shelf.
Generate a draft, not a blank form
Answer a few questions and I'll draft your edg project proposal generator in seconds — written, structured and ready to adapt.
Prefer the blank structure? Copy & fill in
1. Capability being built
State the capability in outcome terms. Map it to a pillar: Core Capabilities, Innovation, or Market Access.
Capability: ____________________
EDG pillar: ____________________
2. Before & after
The single most important section. What can the business do after that it can't today?
Today (the gap): ____________________
After the project (the new capability): ____________________
3. Scope & deliverables
Concrete deliverables a reviewer can assess as credible.
Deliverable 1: ____________________
Deliverable 2: ____________________
Deliverable 3: ____________________
4. Outcomes & how you'll evidence them
EDG claims are tied to delivered outcomes — define how you'll prove them up front.
Outcome metric 1: ____________________
Outcome metric 2: ____________________
Evidence method: ____________________
5. Workforce impact (optional CTC link)
If roles are redesigned by this project, note it — the workforce side may be fundable under CTC.
Roles affected & redesigned: ____________________
Reskilling needed: ____________________
How to use this template
- 1Write section 2 (before & after) first — everything else flows from it.
- 2Keep deliverables concrete and assessable; avoid 'digital transformation' filler.
- 3Define outcome evidence at the start, not after the project.
- 4If roles are redesigned, scope the workforce side for CTC so the stack stays clean.
EDG is project-based and assessed against outcomes. I advise on whether a project is genuinely EDG-shaped before a proposal is written — often the honest call is 'start with PSG, come to EDG when the data justifies it'. Advisory, not submit-for-fee.
