How the software gets funded
Pre-approved AI tools. PSG (up to 50%)
For software that already exists and is pre-approved: CRM, e-commerce, accounting, AI assistants, automation platforms. Fastest path. Payment can be made after submission, and most require a usage report to evidence adoption.

For something bespoke: an AI employee, a custom automation, an integration no off-the-shelf tool covers. EDG funds the consultancy and build of larger, custom transformation projects.

What is enterprise transformation?
Enterprise transformation is the technology half of AI transformation. Adopting the AI software, automations and systems that absorb repetitive work and lift productivity. In Singapore it's funded mainly by PSG (pre-approved tools, up to 50%) and EDG (custom builds, up to 50%), with CTC funding the broader programme.
Why do software adoptions fail?
The most common reason is the white-elephant problem: the tool is bought, but staff aren't trained or the role isn't redesigned around it, so usage stays low and the ROI never lands. That's why enterprise transformation has to be paired with workforce transformation, software and skills together.
Can the software be grant-funded?
Largely, yes. PSG covers up to 50% of pre-approved tools, EDG up to 50% of custom builds, and CTC up to 70% of a transformation that includes software, equipment, consultancy and training. A well-scoped stack often lands a strong blended subsidy. These are the funding options the government offers to support adoption, and businesses apply through the official channels.
