Not vibes — evidence

Most AI-SEO is vibes. This isn't.

Anyone can slap a number on your site. This one is built to survive scrutiny — graded on evidence, computed deterministically, and honest about what it can and can't fix.

Evidence, not opinion

Distilled into 47 research-backed methodsfrom peer-reviewed GEO research, controlled experiments and the 2024 Google Search API leak — each weighted by how strong the proof actually is, not by what's trending.

Deterministic, not a black box

The same page always scores the same number — a fixed rubric, not an AI guess. Re-run it anytime and check. No moving goalposts.

Honest about the ceiling

We separate what's your content (fixable) from rank and authority (the real ceiling) — and we won't sell you llms.txt files or "magic schema" the evidence says barely move citations.

The honest part:most "AI SEO" sells magic tricks. The evidence is blunt — AI quotes what already ranks and is trusted, so there's no shortcut that skips good SEO. We score what genuinely moves citations, and tell you the rest straight.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI Search Readiness?

It measures how likely an AI engine — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google's AI Overviews — is to cite your page when someone asks about your topic. It grades the on-page half you control across 10 GEO/AEO factors.

Is the score free?

Yes — scoring is completely free and needs no sign-up. The tool fetches your public page, grades it 0–100, and names your weakest factors. The prescriptive fixing on your live site is the paid Nick SEO Engine.

Why does a high score not guarantee citations?

Because AI search is the old game with a new scoreboard: AI quotes pages that already rank and are trusted. The on-page score is necessary but not sufficient — organic rank, crawlability and site authority are the off-page ceiling, flagged separately and never faked into the number.

How is the score calculated?

Deterministically, using the Nick SEO Engine's evidence-graded rubric — built from peer-reviewed GEO studies, platform documentation and the 2024 Google Search leak, each factor weighted by evidence quality. The same page always scores the same number.

This tool fetches the public page you enter and scores it; it stores nothing unless you ask for the emailed report. Scoring only — it names weak factors, it doesn't publish or edit your site. Reviewed & updated June 2026.
