Can Singapore SMEs build an AI workforce using grants?
Enterprise Singapore's PSG, EDG and MRA stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026. New applications now go through the EDGE Grant. Possibly, depending on how the build is scoped. From 30 September 2026, Enterprise Singapore's EDGE grant replaces the PSG, EDG and MRA that Enterprise Singapore ran: SMEs get up to 50% on most activities, digital and automation included, within a S$100,000 annual grant cap (EnterpriseSG EDGE FAQ and MR 040/26 Annex B, 9 September 2026). Which EDGE activity fits an AI build depends on the scope, so check the activity pages; AI activities are up to 50% for SMEs, not 70%. The training side can sit with the NTUC CTC grant.
