The S$100,000 annual cap is significantly higher than the current PSG cap of S$30,000. For a business that would previously have needed both a PSG application (S$30k) and an EDG application (S$100k) for a combined AI project, EDGE offers a single, shared S$100k envelope per year instead.
Support rates are confirmed by EnterpriseSG as up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs, with the exact level differing by activity - this is the first time a Singapore non-SME has had a published subsidy rate for these activities.
EnterpriseSG's 2 March 2026 factsheet stated that companies needing more than the standard cap could apply for a case-by-case assessment. That sentence does not appear in the EDGE Grant page or the EDGE FAQ live today. It has not been retracted either - the honest position is that the above-cap route's status is unconfirmed on current published material, and should be re-checked directly with EnterpriseSG rather than assumed either way.
