Yes - AI adoption is a core intended use of the EDGE grant, under EnterpriseSG's Automation & Digitalisation business area, which activity-by-activity uses either a pre-approved vendor/solution model (like today's PSG) or engagement of a suitably qualified consultant (like today's EDG). Full activity lists are not yet published. Until EDGE launches 30 September 2026, AI projects qualify under PSG for pre-approved tools and EDG for custom development and strategic consulting.

Under the current framework, AI adoption typically requires two applications: PSG for any pre-approved AI tool (e.g. chatbots, AI CRM, automated document processing), and EDG for the custom AI build on top of it (e.g. a bespoke AI employee, a multi-agent automation, a custom LLM integration). EDGE is designed to consolidate both into one activity-based application.
For non-SMEs, EDGE is particularly significant: a company with more than S$100M revenue or 200 employees currently has no PSG pathway for AI tools. Under EDGE, AI-adoption activities open to all companies regardless of size.
EnterpriseSG's EDGE FAQ confirms the pre-approved-vendor mechanism carries into EDGE: for activities with a pre-approved vendor list, businesses should choose from that list; for activities where none is required, businesses may engage a vendor of their choice. Whether that means the existing PSG vendor list itself carries over is not yet published. Until EDGE launches, my approach with clients is to scope the AI use cases, map them to the pre-approved tool layer (PSG) and the custom build layer (EDG), and apply under whichever current scheme fits before the 29 September 2026 cutoff.
