EnterpriseSG's EDG page states: "Each complete application takes approximately 8-12 weeks to process." For EDGE, the FAQ gives no single figure: it varies by activity and is published per activity from 30 September 2026. Treat any EDGE timeline quoted before then as an estimate.
Build in time for changes, too. Under EDGE, change requests are only allowed for the project end date and claim due date; any other change, such as a different vendor, means terminating the application on the Business Grants Portal and reapplying (EDGE FAQ).
The critical rule under EDG today is that projects must not commence before grant approval - a project is deemed commenced if the applicant has started work, made payment to a third party in the application, or signed a contract with a third party in the application. Nothing published so far suggests EDGE changes this.
EDGE's activity pages (read 30 September 2026) list "SS 680 certification" among the vendor documents required at application for Business Strategic Planning, Financial Framework and Corporate Strategy, Sustainability Strategy Development, International Branding, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001. Large-scale Digital Transformation does not list it. For those activities, have the vendor's SS 680 certification document ready at application.
For activities using a pre-approved vendor list - the mechanism EnterpriseSG's EDGE FAQ confirms survives into EDGE for some activities - assessment may be faster because the vendor is already qualified, similar to how PSG approvals work today.
