How long does an EDGE grant application take in Singapore?

Project costs incurred before grant approval are not reimbursable under EDG today, and EDGE is expected to keep that rule, so scope and apply before starting work.

EnterpriseSG's EDG page states: "Each complete application takes approximately 8-12 weeks to process." No equivalent figure has been published for EDGE as of this writing; treat any specific EDGE timeline as an estimate based on the EDG model it draws from, not a confirmed figure.

The critical rule under EDG today is that projects must not commence before grant approval - a project is deemed commenced if the applicant has started work, made payment to a third party in the application, or signed a contract with a third party in the application. Nothing published so far suggests EDGE changes this.

Whether engaging a consultant with EDG's current SAC-accredited TR 43 / SS 680 certification will still matter for EDGE consulting-type activities is not yet published by EnterpriseSG - do not assume it carries over, and do not assume it doesn't.

For activities using a pre-approved vendor list - the mechanism EnterpriseSG's EDGE FAQ confirms survives into EDGE for some activities - assessment may be faster because the vendor is already qualified, similar to how PSG approvals work today.
